Anne Weltner came to Hellam Varon in 1987 following a ten year stint as a CPA in California. She was raised on the Oregon coast and attended Oregon State University.  Specializing in tax preparation, she has become a valuable resource for the younger staff and enjoys helping those with less experience. She also likes encouraging her garden to grow, but admits she is considerably better with people than with plants.

A specialist in individual tax returns, Anne finds herself acting as a mentor for those around her, often reviewing returns prepared by others. Doubtless her past experience as a Girl Scout troop leader is invaluable, although she won't admit it.

Outside of the office she can be found on the back of a motorcycle, exploring the Northwest with her husband Jerry, playing in the church handbell choir, or cheering for the Mariners and the Seattle Storm.
