Debbie Evans arrived at Hellam Varon in 2005, bringing with her 22 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant. From the very beginning her work has centered on her clients. "I like the interaction," she says. "I get to talk to a lot of people, all with very different things going on in their lives." As a tax preparer, Debbie works with individuals, trusts, and businesses, and enjoys the opportunity to develop relationships with all those different people.
Away from the office, Debbie is likely to be found skiing, biking on the Sammamish trail, or rowing a scull out on the lake. During quieter moments she might be caught reading or spending time with her husband, Mike (an avid mountain biker who has yet to convince Debbie that she should trade in her comfort bike for a mountain bike).
Debbie feels she has discovered a new professional home at Hellam Varon. "I like the way people treat each other," she says. "Everyone here is very respectful towards each other, as well as towards their clients."
