MGI is a worldwide association of independent auditing, accounting and consulting firms. Neither MGI nor any member firm accepts responsibility for the activities, work, opinions or services of any other members.
Hellam Varon has grown steadily over the years. This managed growth is a symbol of our dedication to our people and our clients. Our employee turnover rate is extremely low for the industry, which translates into stability in long-term relationships with clients and team members. A policy of respect and support encourages all associates to actively participate in the success of both our clients and our firm. As a result, we have enjoyed great success in our relationships with our clients and referral sources. The size of our firm allows us to provide a broad variety of services for our clients, yet we are small enough that our shareholders and associates are easily accessible to provide personal attention to client needs.
Members of our firm hold leadership and other key positions within our community and professional organizations. These positions and opportunities provide us with skills and resources that we put to use for our family and business clients. Kai Bottomley is a technical reviewer of peer reviews required by all WSCPA firms, one of only three such persons to hold this position in Washington. Neil Bretvick is past chairman of the WSCPA taxation and IRS liaison committees. Charlie Pratt is past president and current treasurer of the Emerald City Rotary Club. Cynthia Petrie sits on advisory committees for The Seattle Foundation, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and the Humane Society for Seattle/King County. Our other shareholders and associates are involved in our community in numerous ways. We are acknowledged leaders in our profession.
